The RPS keeps critical 24 VDC equipment – engine controllers, safety units, alarm panels – powered when one supply fails. It runs on the primary supply, switches quickly to the secondary on loss of power and returns to the primary when it comes back. The 0 V and 24 V of the two inputs are isolated from each other.
