The DCU 408E is the Marine Pro 400 engine controller without its own screen – the same control, monitoring and safety logic as the DCU 410E, for installations where the operator uses remote panels or the ship's alarm system instead of a display on the engine. It suits fixed-speed generator sets as well as variable-speed propulsion engines and pumps.
- Engine data from the ECU on two J1939 CAN ports, plus 8 switch inputs, 4 × 4–20 mA, 4 × PT100 and a magnetic pickup
- Start, stop, crank, pre-lubrication and ETR/ETS outputs; Modbus RTU / TCP to the alarm system
- Set-up in a web browser over Ethernet, no special software; DIN-rail mounting possible
- Works with Marine Pro remote panels such as the RP 210E and RP 420E / 480i, SDU safety units and RIO expansion
IACS type approved (DNV, LR, BV, ABS, KR, CCS – certificates in the downloads).
